Metro Clark Waste Management Corporation (MCWM) operates the first and most advanced engineered sanitary landfill in the Philippines. As the country's growing population and increasing urban development contribute to the looming garbage crisis, our waste management solutions ensure the proper disposal of solid waste, helping to improve public health and maintain environmental standards.

MCWM's facility is located on 100-hectares within the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ), and has served LGU's and Industrial Clients from Central Luzon to Metro Manila. Our waste management facilities utilize state-of-the art German technology and best practices. MCWM is the only sanitary landfill operator in the Philippines to be ISO certified on management, environmental compliance and operational health and safety.


The Requirements When Entering MOA with MCWM

  • Certificate of Registration and Tax Exemption (for Locators) or Mayor's permit
  • SEC Registration (if applicable)
  • DTI
  • BIR Registration
  • Other Clearances or certifications
  • Documentary requirements of the Non-Hazardous Waste Generators
  • A valid Transporter Registration Certificate (TRC)
  • CCO Registration Certificate Transporter (for Asbestos)
  • Documentary requirements of the Non-Hazardous Waste Generators
  • Environmental Compliance Certificate
  • A valid TSD (Treatment, Storage and Disposal) Facility Permit that matches MCWM’s TSD for specific waste to be disposed
  • EMB Certificate of Accreditation of Pollution Control Officer
  • Certificate of Product Registration for Equipment or Devices from DOH (for Health Care Waste Treaters)
  • Technical Performance Evaluation Report issued by NRL-EAMC (for Health Care Waste Treaters)
  • CCO Registration Certificate Service Provider (for Asbestos)
  • Documentary requirements of the Non-Hazardous Waste Generators
  • Certificate of Non-coverage for DENR-EMB
  • PEZA Certificate of Registration as Waste Hauler/Collector wherein MCWM is stated as Final Disposal Site (certificate may follow for new PEZA applicants upon its release)
  • Latest OR/CR of Authorized Transport Vehicle
  • Proof of Training on Waste Management under PEZA

Types of wastes Accepted

  • Municipal Solid Wastes: Domestic Wastes and Residual Wastes from MRF
  • Biodegradable Wastes: Food and Kitchen Wastes, Green Wastes
  • Recyclable Materials: Bottles, Plastics, Paper, etc.
  • Composite Materials: Waste Clothing, TETRA Packs, Plastics, Bulky Wastes
  • Inert Wastes: Construction, Mining, Demolition Wastes, Rocks, Debris, etc.
  • Ashes
  • Light Materials
  • Commercial & Industrial Wastes with Non Hazardous Materials and Components
  • Styrofoam, Insulation, etc.
  • Non-hazardous Sludge, Filter cake, etc.

MCWM only accepts hazardous waste that has been pre-treated in a DENR accredited facility that employs specialized procedures to properly neutralize the waste to make it suitable for disposal at an engineered landfill.
