MCWM assistance surges to help flood victims

Every good act is a charity

Due to the continuous monsoon rains enhanced by Typhoon Fabian resulting in severe flooding, Metro Clark Waste Management (MCWM) on August 10 and August 23 distributed relief packs to the affected families in the Municipality of Masantol, Pampanga affecting 18 villages.

MCWM continues its efforts in reaching out to their partnered communities, especially during a natural disaster that affects most of Central Luzon.” Vicky Gaetos, MCWM’s Executive Vice President says. We hope that our simple gesture towards the residents of Masantol will encourage them to get back on their feet.

Almost 1, 000 packs of goods were distributed for the affected families, and included in the packs are as follows: 3 kilos of rice, canned goods, cup noodles, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Masantol Mayor Danilo Guintu took to Facebook his gratitude to MCWM for their generous donation.
